Named for the American sculptor, Alexander Calder, known for his wire sculptures and (often colorful) kinetic mobiles, the Calder Earrings are an ode to the artist’s playful approach to art-making. Substantial and statement-making, each earring is handcrafted into an entirely unique mini-sculpture. Originally designed in 2018, this new iteration incorporates malachite, lapis, and carnelian beads into the kinetic earrings that are as sophisticated as they are playful.

CARE

Store jewelry in the provided pouch, away from direct sunlight, to protect them from scratches and oxidation. Avoid wearing jewelry during strenuous activities, in chlorinated pools, or when applying cosmetics.

MATERIALS

Made locally in Santa Fe, New Mexico using sterling silver, vintage dead-stock 8mm lapis beads, 6mm malachite beads mined in China, and 5mm carnelian beads mined in Taiwan.
