R.Mapes

Collectible works spanning blown glass, jewelry, and mixed media.

Rebecca Mapes is a multidisciplinary artist working in glass and jewelry. Her practice investigates material behavior — in glass, working with a medium that seeks roundness and volume; in metal, engaging structure, precision, and intimacy. Natural forms persist as reference throughout: stones, botanical structures, bodily presence. Mapes holds a BFA from Pratt Institute and works from Santa Fe, where her glass practice is developed at Prairie Dog Glass under the guidance of Patrick Morrissey.
